The new TG-820 camera from Olympus is constructed to be Waterproof, Freezeproof, Shockproof and Crushproof . The new tough cam shoots 12MP photos and Full HD Videos in 1080p with a 5x Optical Zoom. The camera sports a 12 Megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, and a wide angle 5X optical zoom lens, equivalent to 28 - 140 mm. It will come in silver, black, red, and blue and is expected to ship in March for $299.

Red Tails is a film about the famous Tuskegee Airmen of World War II, inspired by the true story of America's first all black aerial combat unit.
The film's title comes from red painted tails on their planes. With an all black cast and no starring "white" role, the concept was a hard sell for "Star Wars" creator George Lucas. Lucas eventuall took $58 million of his own cash to personally fund the project. The film, which tells the story of a group of Tuskegee Airmen during WWII, has a cast that includes Terrence Howard, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Ne-Yo and Method Man. It opens nationwide on Jan. 20. I've spoken to a number of people who attended screenings, and I expect it will be a "must see" film for 2012. Continue for the Trailer

The BMW K 1600 GT gets the top vote of the international motorcycle press jury at the Brussels Motor Show.

Munich. The BMW K 1600 GT has won the vote for the “International Bike Of The Year 2011 (IBOTY)" award. This was announced at a press conference given by the Belgian motorcycle magazine Motor Wereld at the Brussels Motor Show. The award for the K 1600 GT comes from an international jury representing 25 motorcycle magazines.

Two-time GRAMMY winner LL Cool J has been chosen to host the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards. This will be first time in seven years that the GRAMMY's event will have an official host. Previously announced performers include Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, and Taylor Swift. The music industry's premier event will take place on Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It will be broadcast on the CBS from 8–11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
A number of R&B and hip-hop world royalty are among the nominees for this year's NAACP Image Awards.
