The Portland Trailblazers have had a hard-to-swallow reputation of being a group of uncontrollable youths mired in off-the-court troubles and dilemma. Well, the Trailblazers of the present consist of young, hard-working talent – one player in particular being LaMarcus Aldridge, the Texas alumni and rising star in the NBA. Aldridge is one of the most athletic big-men in the game, and he moves around so easily because of his Air Max Hyperdunk 2010 PE, featuring a tonal red colorway and black swoosh, with ‘L-Smooth’ printed on the tongue. This great Player Edition colorway can be yours because House of Hoops just got these in, so take a look at the detailed angles after the jump and let us know what you think of this colorway. Fans of Michael Jackson will no doubt be excited to hear that Dec. 14 has been chosen as the release date for 'Michael,' the first full-length collection of unreleased songs from the 'King of Pop' since his untimely passing last year. It is well-known that Jackson recorded many more songs than he used for classic albums such as 'Thriller' and 'Off the Wall,' and that he kept himself busy working on new material right up to his death. Hundreds of completed or nearly finished songs are rumored to be awaiting release from Jackson's family; it seems logical to assume that the cream of the crop will be featured on this initial compilation. You can expect your first taste of new Michael Jackson music next week, when the first full track from the record, the appropriately titled 'Breaking News,' initially recorded in 2007 in New Jersey, is released via the Web. A peak at the highly ornate cover art, which features a painted collage of Michael in the various poses, outfits (and noses) from his many groundbreaking videos, further leads us to believe this album will feature music from different eras of his solo career. Be sure to check AOL Radio to hear 'Breaking News' and get more details about 'Michael' as they become available. In the meantime, you can enjoy songs from all phases of Jackson's legendary career by moonwalking on over to AOL Radio's All Michael Jackson station. ...(read more)

It was such a success they needed to make more. Tag Heuer's ultra luxury Monaco V4 didn't appeal to everyone, but it still delighted them. Based on the Monaco watch case, the V4 was a tour de force of watch design and technology. The movement used small belts rather than gear trains for much of the movement. The first watch was done in platinum in a limited edition of 150 pieces. I wrote about the original Tag Heuer Monaco V4 watch here, and here. Now Tag Heuer is bringing the Monaco V4 back, in a slightly larger case (41mm wide versus 39mm wide) and in rose gold ruthenium and ceramic. The dial is almost black with various colors as well as rose gold elements. This time it will be limited to just 60 pieces. While I was a fan of the original, I like this one even more. The new contrast on the dial is great, and the larger size will suit the design - which needed the size to match its boldness. Why just 60 pieces? Not sure, but sources seem to indicate that Tag Heuer has some other exciting things in store for 2011. Not sure about price, the original was $80,000 and each sold out. This one could be a bit less as it is not in platinum. Ariel Adams publishes the luxury watch reviews site aBlogtoRead.com. Filed under:

Mavado

It's been a while since we've seen a music video incorporate a truly intriguing plot.  In Drake's new video for "Find Your Love" however, there is much intrigue to be found. The setting is a gritty area in Jamaica where Drake finds himself obsessed with a local girl that "belongs" to a powerful local "Badman".  The video opens with Drake receiving counsel from a wise elder who implores him to forget about the girl, and make the completion of his album the priority.  Nuff respect to Drake for using actors who truly look the part and speak "Rawthentic" Jamaican patois. In fact, that  the "Badman" in Drake's video is played by none other than Jamaican Dancehall star Mavado, who is notorious in his own right for highly publicized clashes with Vybez Kartel in the Gully vs. Gaza feud. What makes the video particularly interesting is  the timing of its release,  as people worldwide a currently following the saga of notorious  Jamaican drug kingpin "Dudas", and the violent yet failed attempts to capture him.

Weezy Rocks out with Nicki Minaj for his new "Knockout" Video.  We're feelin the track, but the video is basically Weezy and Nicki in a locker room. No Funky imagery or effects other than Nicki in her two tone wig and an outfit that is definately worth a look !
