Air Jordan XIII Retro – Altitude

On December 10, 2010, in FASHION, SNEAKERS, STYLE, Syndicated, by SOURCE: SNEAKERNEWS.COM
In terms or the sheer amount of releases, Jordan Brand certainly has reached an uncharted (excuse the cheesiness) ‘altitude’. There was roughly just over one Retro or Retro-inspired Air Jordan shoe per week but many of you have kept your wallets nicely tucked away for the gargantuan December 2010 releases. Doernbecher IIIs, Cool Grey XI, Bulls XIII, Cranberry 1/2 Cents, and the Altitude XIII is roughly a cool stack of Ben Franklins in one month, but even during the painful process of balancing your finances, you’ll have your fresh kicks to console you. Officially hitting select Jordan Brand retailers tomorrow is the Air Jordan XIII ‘Altitude’, a re-issue of the 2005 colorway with an all-new mesh upper. Check out these extra images after the jump and be sure to snag a pair tomorrow, or get yours now on eBay. Style: 310004-031 Color: Black/Altitude Green

Nike LeBron 8 V2 – White – Black – Varsity Red

On November 29, 2010, in DWU, FASHION, SNEAKERS, STYLE, Syndicated, by SOURCE: SNEAKERNEWS.COM
Nike LeBron 8 V2 – White – Black – Varsity Red | Detailed Images LeBron James and the Miami Heat are certainly in dire need of a jolt of energy, coming off two straight losses – one coming off a buzzer-beater from Rudy Gay and the second a miserable Home loss to the Indiana Pacers. It could come in the form of the Nike LeBron 8 V2, a lighter package of the LeBron 8 featuring a featherweight shell with exposed Flywire with perforated mesh underneath it. Last season, the Nike LeBron VII P.S. offered the same lighter construction and modified fit to adjust to LeBron’s post-season play but unfortunately the results did not match the expectations. For this season, the second stage of his LeBron 8 signature will come a lot earlier – possibly by mid-season – as the wear and tear of the NBA season takes its toll on James’ physique. Take a look at this detailed gallery of the white, black, and varsity red colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 V2 and let us know if you think LeBron James will be the one hoisting an NBA Championship trophy over his head this June. via Rstor. On November 28, 2010, in FASHION, SNEAKERS, STYLE, Syndicated, by SOURCE: SNEAKERNEWS.COM

Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Electric Green’

Over the past year or two, we’ve seen a number of Foamposite releases, from re-issues of the originals to some eye-catching new versions, and it’s clear that Nike has no intention of slowing down. We’ve already seen various looks at the Royal and Pewter editions that will be hitting retail in 2011, but until now, we were yet to see actual photos of the much-anticipated Electric Green/Black colorway that was first previewed back in July. Finally, we get a better look at the bright green Foamposite Pro’s that are bound to spark excitement, especially for those who were big fans of the Cactus Foams or the coveted Kryptonates. These should be a little easier to get your hands on when they arrive next year. For now, check out the new pics and be sure to stay tuned for news on a confirmed release date. Via SneakerHotline.

Nike LeBron 8 V2 ‘Neon’ – New Teaser Pics

On November 28, 2010, in FASHION, SNEAKERS, STYLE, Syndicated, by SOURCE: SNEAKERNEWS.COM
VIA: SneakerNews Last week, DJ Clark Kent brought us our first look at a fresh new colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 that may or may not turn out to be this year’s Dunkman offering. We’ll have to wait for a full look at the shoe to find out if the Dunkman logo can be found, but either way, this new version of the LeBron 8 is sure to stir up some excitement. Now, we get another sneak peek at the upcoming colorway that may throw a wrench in the works for some of its initial admirers if it does turn out to be an altered retail version of the same shoe. As you can see from these pics, the outsole and Air bag appear to be white instead of the solid neon that really seemed to make the shoe pop when we first saw it. There also seem to be different materials on the upper and black laces, so perhaps this could be a look at a potential V2 version. This follow up look at the juicy new colorway comes courtesy of MarqueeSole’s SN Blog, and you know that means that they should be showing up at their online store soon, so hopefully, we’ll finally be able to answer some of the questions looming around this intriguing new release. Check out the new teasers and stay tuned for detailed pics coming soon. UPDATE: It was just pointed out by one of our readers that these do actually look to most likely be the black/grey version of the LeBron 8 V2 previewed earlier this month. Good eye Beavertron17. Carmelo Anthony Meets Future Sole 2010 Winner

On November 12, 2010, in DWU, EVENTS, FASHION, SNEAKERS, STYLE, Syndicated, by SOURCE: SNEAKERNEWS.COM
Carmelo Anthony Meets Future Sole 2010 Winner Last year’s Future Sole 2009 winner Austin Jermacans saw his Jordan Melo M6 design be produced, released, and worn by Carmelo Anthony during an NBA game and by the Syracuse Orangemen in the 2010 NCAA March Madness Tournament. It’ll be tough to follow up that performance but 15-year-old Allen Largin’s winning design of the Future Sole 2010 Competition has some high expectations as well. Largin flew out to Denver with his Jordan Melo M7 design to meet with Carmelo Anthony, and during that meeting, Anthony got an advanced look at the next shoe he will wear this season. Carmelo’s embraced the Jordan Brand Future Sole competition and credits the young designers for their outstanding design, pointing to the moment during which he will wear the shoes in a game as “their moment”. Check out the extra images of Largin’s meeting with Carmelo Anthony after the jump and let us know what you think of the design. Read the rest of Carmelo Anthony Meets Future Sole 2010 Winner

Doernbecher x Air Jordan III New Images

On November 2, 2010, in DWU, FASHION, SNEAKERS, STYLE, Syndicated, by SOURCE: SNEAKERNEWS.COM
Doernbecher x Air Jordan III – New Images Is there more to the Air Jordan III Doernbecher than we initially thought? These new images of the upcoming Air Jordan release reveals an interesting design feature of the shoe. Cole Johansen, the 11-year-old behind the concept of the shoe, chose a reflective 3M material on his final design, using the flashy material on the mudguard as well as on the tongue and lace placket. When hit was camera flash, the tongue changes from a solid black to an illuminated tone as does the mudguard of the shoe. 3M is always a tasty feature on any sneaker so with this new revelation, the Air Jordan III Doernbecher just went up a few notches. Nike LeBron 8 V2 ‘Christmas’ – Teaser Pics

On November 1, 2010, in DWU, FASHION, SNEAKERS, STYLE, Syndicated, by SOURCE: SNEAKERNEWS.COM
Nike LeBron 8 V2 Christmas Teaser Pics LeBron James is shaking things up this fall.  His Heat shook up the league then shook off their collective jitters and are on a three game winning streak, but we expected quite a few more before the King shed some shoe weight.  Pictured above is a teaser shot at the Nike LeBron VIII V.2 in what any kid in the world could tell you is a Christmas colorway.  Looks like Santa has more cookie crumbles up his sleeve, and it’s Marquee Sole delivering the gifts with a look at more speckles on a predominantly red design, much like the Air Max LeBron VII Christmas sample from last year.  Kinda like getting the best of both worlds, and doubled by combining a ‘lost’ colorway with what looks to be an early release of what we expected to be the playoff LeBrons.  This is an interesting development to be sure, so be sure to stick with Sneaker News for the latest on LeBron 8 V2 release dates.
